Is The Thread Size The Same On Both Sides Of The Filter?

No. The outside thread size is just one size bigger than the inside thread size. For example, the inside thread is used to connect with your 58mm lens. The outside thread is to connect with your 62mm accessories (i.e a lens cap of a 62mm thread size)

Double Adjusting ND Filter...What's The Difference Between Fixed vs Variable?

You may be thinking of a traditional fixed ND filter. Fixed ND Filters are only 1 layer of glass. The main disadvantages are that you will need several different filters to have a complete set of NDs. Unlike fixed ND filters, Variable ND Filters have several filters packed into one. This way, instead of carrying around multiple filters for different lighting conditions, you can carry just one. This ensures perfect shots in any shooting scenario without the clutter. Ultimately saving you time and no frustration!

Can't I Stack 2 Polarizers To Get The Same Effect?

Mineral oil is a natural by-product of petroleum. It’s created when petroleum is distilled to become gasoline (yep, the stuff you put in the ol’ gas tank).
